Now You Understand

Now that you're a mother, you understand why I used to hug you so tightly, kiss you so much, and worry about you so often. Now that you're a mother, you understand why I didn't mind wiping your tears or your nose, and why I still carry tissues with me - just in case. Now that you're a mother, you understand that having a child makes you do things you never imagined, fell things you never expected, and dream better things for your child than you ever dreamed for yourself. And now that you're a mother, I can wish for you what you gave to me year after year - wonderful memories, and a heart filled with happiness and love. Happy Mother's Day
