To remove the BlueMountain.com wallpaper that you currently have installed on your desktop, please follow the instructions below.
Right click on your desktop.
From the menu that appears, select "Active Desktop" and then "Customize My Desktop".
In the gray box that appears, click on the "Background" tab.
From the list of images available, choose an alternate wallpaper. Or click "Browse" to search for another image stored on your computer.
If you prefer to install a blank background, select "None" from the top of the list
Click "Apply" and then "OK".
**If you are using Windows XP, please refer to the steps below.
Right click on your desktop
Make sure you go to the "Desktop" Tab.
Now hit the "Customize Desktop" Button.
Choose the "Web" Tab.
Make sure that "Lock Desktop Items" is "Unchecked".
You will now see a white Web Pages box.
Select all of the boxes except for "My Current Homepage".
Hit the "Delete" button that appears to the right.
If this does not resolve the problem immediately, please try restarting your computer after making these changes.
If you're using a PC, you can remove the our Social Butterfly application by visiting Add/Remove Programs (XP) or Programs and Features (Vista or Windows 7) within your Control Panel. Locate the BlueMountain.com Social Butterfly, click once to highlight and then select remove or uninstall to remove the application.
If you're using a Mac, simply open your Applications folder, locate the Social Butterfly folder and drag it to the trash.
