Son, it doesn't matter
if you make a lot of money --
only that you make it honestly.
It doesn't matter if you
acquire possessions --
only that you collect them prudently.
It doesn't matter if you
gain a good position --
only that you earn it fairly.
Remember that love
is all that matters --
love for God, your family,
and yourself.
I feel at ease knowing
that you understand these things,
because your children learn much
by watching you.
And you have taught them well.
They appreciate your guidance
and advice;
they appreciate your labors
