For knowing that I have a place as I wake to a new day, For the right to speak my mind, or kneel quietly to pray... For the dreams I strive to reach, for the love I'm free to give, For the laughter shared with dearest friends, a necessity to live... For the security and peace of mind that all is safe and sound, For growing, sharing, hoping, caring -- there's goodness all around. For all of this, we're grateful for, whisper soft or loudly sing... Their duty and their sacrifice have let our freedom ring! Memorial Day is a time for thanks and remembrance.
A Prayer for Our Nation God bless America and keep us safe and free - Safe from all our enemies, wherever they may be Teach us to walk humbly and closer in Thy ways, Give us faith and courage and put purpose in our days Make each one of us aware that each must do his part, For in the individual is where peace must have its start... For a better world to live in where all are safe and free Must start with faith and hope and love deep in the heart of me. Praying for peace in your heart that will touch the hearts of others and inspire all with faith and courage. Thinking of You in this Memorial Day
"And so, my fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country." -- John F. Kennedy Thinking of you on Memorial Day, and thanking you for all you did for our country.

My country 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing. Land where my fathers died, land of the Pilgrim's pride, from every mountainside, let freedom ring. Samuel Francis Smith. Saluting all those who gave their lives that we might live in freedom.
