Helping Hands

On August 25, 2007, a dedicated team of volunteers from the BlueMountain.com team spent their Saturday helping build homes with Habitat for Humanity. Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization working to eliminate substandard housing, and enabling families and volunteers to improve lives. They create hope by building homes, strengthening neighborhoods and re-weaving communities.

What the BlueMountain.com team lacked in construction experience, they made up for in enthusiasm, hard work, and the willingness to jump in wherever they were needed and get their hands dirty. They day was spent working many long hours along side other Habitat volunteers, and the Partner Family on 3 different adjacent homes on the near east side of Cleveland. They dug dirt, filled porches, nailed frames, climbed rafters, attached overlooks plus so much more. Volunteering for Habitat was an experience they will never forget!
