One of the wonderful member benefits our Blue Mountain members enjoy is the ability to schedule their ecards ahead of time. Missed birthdays and anniversaries are a thing of the past, and holiday cards are sent automatically while members are busy baking, shopping, and enjoying the season.
If you haven’t yet tried scheduling your cards ahead, you might want to try it today! In our previous post, we shared with you how to set up all your reminders so you’ll be notified what ecards you need to send and when to send them. Once you have all that information ready to go, why not make a glass of iced tea and sit on the porch, or enjoy a rainy afternoon, and take the time to choose your cards and schedule them to arrive anytime you’d like – up to a year in advance! Simply follow the steps below. (We’ll even show you how easy it is to attach a gift card to any ecard for an extra-fun surprise that your friends and family will love.)
How to Schedule eCards Ahead:
Choosing your card is the first and most fun part! No matter what the occasion, you’ll find eCards that are heartfelt and warm or silly and surprising. Plus, you can choose cards that sing, and yes—talk!
Once you select your card, you’ll want to click the Personalize and Send button. Here you can personalize your own message in the font, size, style, and color of your choice, and even add a photo. Not sure on what to say? Click the Suggested Messages link and choose the occasion from the drop-down menu. Then simply choose which message you’d like to add. Next, select the Email option in order to schedule it ahead, and click Continue to Delivery Information.
Now you get to schedule you card ahead! First fill in the To and From fields, and then below that you’ll see the Delivery & Notifications section. Here is where you can choose any date you’d like your card to be delivered – yep, up to a year in advance! Select any date you’d like from the drop-down boxes. You can also select to receive an email with a copy of the eCard, to notify you when your eCard was picked up, and even to let you know if your card hasn’t been picked up yet.
Turn your eCard into an instant gift by adding a gift card! After you’ve selected your date of delivery, you’ll notice that you can also choose to add a gift card to your eCard. When you select that option and click Add a gift card & Send eCard, you’ll be taken to the gift card page where you can choose from so many great retailers that it’ll be hard to choose just one! If you don’t wish to attach a gift card, simply click the Send eCard button and your card will be scheduled to be sent on the day you chose. (Any eCard can be canceled up to 24 hours before the target delivery date. Just follow the link in your confirmation email, or go to Your Account on www.bluemountain.com and click on eCards & Gifts Sent.)
