1.         PROMOTION TIMING: Entry for the Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:01 am Eastern Standard Time on January 20, 2014, and at 11:59 PM EST on January 24, 2014 (the “Sweepstakes Period”).  Eastern Standard Time shall control for all purposes of this Sweepstakes.

2. HOW TO ENTER: To enter the Sweepstakes, during the Entry Period, visit http://www.bluemountain.com/blog/2014/01/valentines-day-sweepstakes (the “Website”), and follow the instructions to complete the displayed survey and sweepstakes entry form.

Answers will be displayed publicly in an info-graphic form, but will not identify individual participants unless full permission is given by the participant upon being randomly selected as a winner. Limit one (1) entry per person. Entries received from any person or email account holder in excess of the stated limitation will be void and Sponsor will disqualify such entries. Only one (1) prize will be allowed per household. All entries must be received by the Sponsor by 11:59pm on January 24, 2014, to be eligible. Use of computer programs and other automatic means to enter the Sweepstakes is prohibited. Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your online service may apply. Sponsor and Administrator are not responsible for late, lost, ineligible, incomplete, stolen, or misdirected entries. The Sponsor’s database clock will be the official timekeeper for this Sweepstakes. For purposes of this Sweepstakes, an entry, regardless of the method of entry, is “received” when Sponsor’s database servers record the entry information. Proof of sending (such as, without limitation, a printed, saved or copied automated receipt confirming entry) does not constitute proof of actual receipt of an entry for purposes of this Sweepstakes. Entries that are forged, altered, incomplete, lost, late, misdirected, mutilated, illegitimate, garbled, postage-due, illegible, or generated by a macro, bot, or other automated means will not be accepted and will be void. As a condition of entering the Sweepstakes, each entrant gives consent for Sponsor to obtain and deliver his or her name, address and other information to third parties for the purpose of administering this Sweepstakes and complying with applicable laws, regulations and rules. Conduct or activities in violation of these Official Rules, or any other content, display, materials and/or images that are or could be considered inappropriate, unsuitable or offensive, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, are subject to disqualification. All federal, provincial, state, municipal, and local laws and regulations apply. By entering, you consent to the Sponsor or its designated representatives storing, sharing and using the personal information submitted with your entry only for the purpose of administering the Sweepstakes and in accordance with Sponsor’s privacy policy.

3. SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNER: Ten (10) winners (each may be referred to as “Winner” or collectively as “Winners”) will be selected from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Prizes will be awarded by random drawing at the end of the sweepstakes. Ten (10) winners will one (1) Mrs. Field’s “Cute as a Cupcake Bundle” gift basket mailed to the address provided on their official entry form and one (1) one-year subscription to BlueMountain.com. Odds of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period.

Potential winners will be notified on or about February 14th, 2014 by email using the information provided on the potential winner’s entry form and may be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability and Publicity Release (where permitted by law) (collectively, the “Affidavit”) within 7 days of date specified in notification or an alternate winner may be selected.

The Sponsor or its designated representatives will make two (2) attempts to contact each of the selected Winners through email within one (1) business week of selection. If the selected Winner cannot be contacted within seven (7) calendar days after the first attempt to contact him/her or if there is a return of any notification as undeliverable; then the selected Winner will be disqualified (and will forfeit all rights to his/her respective Prize) and the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to select an alternate eligible Winner from among the remaining eligible entries (in which case the forgoing provisions of this section shall apply to such new selected Winner). If any Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, does not comply with these Official Rules, fails to claim a Prize, or if the prize notification or Prize is returned as undeliverable, an alternate eligible Winner may, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, be selected. Sponsor will not be obligated to pursue more than three (3) alternate winners for each prize for any reason, in which case the prize may go unawarded. Sponsor reserves the right to modify the notification procedures in connection with the selection of any alternate potential winner, if any.

SPONSOR’S DECISIONS SHALL BE FINAL IN ALL MATTERS PERTAINING TO THIS SWEEPSTAKES.

4. PRIZES, APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES: There are ten (10) Prizes (each may be referred to as “Prize”): Each winner will receive one (1) Mrs. Field’s “Cute as a Cupcake Bundle” gift basket sent to the mailing address provided on the official entry form (approximate retail value “ARV”: $39.99) and one (1) one-year subscription to BlueMountain.com for themselves or someone they love (approximate retail value “ARV”: $19.99.) Limit one (1) Prize Package per household. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received. Sponsor shall have no responsibility or obligation to any Winner or eligible Winner who is unable to accept Prize as described herein. Prize is neither transferable nor substitutable and may not be redeemed for cash. All federal, provincial, state, and local taxes incurred by any Winner as a result of receiving any Prize herein shall be the sole responsibility of such Winner.All winners also have the opportunity to have their survey answers featured in the BlueMountain.com blog.

All prizes claimed will be awarded.  All federal, state and local taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.  Any portion of the prize not accepted or unclaimed and/or unused by the winner will be forfeited and will not be substituted.  No transfer, refund, cash redemption, substitution or replacement of prize or any prize component permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value (or cash equivalent).  ARV of all prizes is in U.S. dollars.

TOTAL ARV OF ALL PRIZES TO BE AWARDED DURING THE SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD IS $599.80.

5.ELIGIBILITY: To be eligible to enter and win a prize in the BlueMountain.com Valentine’s Day 2014 Sweepstakes, entrant must be an individual 18 years of age, the legal age of majority, or older in his or her state of residence and must be a legal resident of the United States or the District of Columbia as of the date of entry. This Sweepstakes is void in all United States territories (including Puerto Rico), possessions and overseas military installations and where prohibited by law. Employees of BlueMountain.com or American Greetings Interactive (or “Sponsor”), and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, promotional partners, subsidiaries, service agencies, independent contractors, and all of the officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, promotional partners, sales representatives, and Sweepstakes and other vendor agencies involved in this Sweepstakes (collectively “Released Parties”) and the immediate family (defined for the purposes of this Sweepstakes as parents, spouses, siblings, children) and household members of all such employees, are NOT eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes and/or win a prize. 6.GENERAL RULES: By participating in this Sweepstakes promotion, entrant agrees to be bound by and comply with these Official Rules. By accepting any Prize, the Winner agrees that the Sponsor and those acting under the Sponsor’s authority may use Winner’s name, survey answers, picture/portrait likeness and/or voice, for advertising and promotional purposes without further consideration, unless prohibited by law. Entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules. By accepting Prize, Winner agrees that the Sponsor, its respective subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and their directors, employees, representatives and agents, will have no liability whatsoever for, and will be held harmless by Winner for any liability for any injury, loss or damages of any kind to persons, including death, and property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the Prize or participation in this Sweepstakes or any Prize related activity. 7.LIMITATION OF LIABILITY; INDEMNIFICATION: Entrant agrees that Sponsor will have no liability whatsoever for, and will indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor and its respective parent, subsidiaries, and affiliate companies, and their respective, officers, directors, agents, co-branders or other partners, and any of their employees (collectively, the ” Sweepstakes Indemnities”) from, any and all claims, damages, expenses, costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) and liabilities (including settlements), brought or asserted by any third party against any of the Sweepstakes Indemnities due to or arising out of the entrant’s submission in this Sweepstakes, or the entrant’s conduct during and in connection with this Sweepstakes, including but not limited to trademark, copyright, or other intellectual property rights, right of publicity, right of privacy, or defamation. Eastern Standard Time shall control for all purposes of this Contest. The Contest is governed by these Official Rules, and is subject to all applicable U.S. federal, state and local laws. Void were prohibited by law.• ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States, who are 18 years of age or older and enrolled in an accredited college or University at the time of entry. Limit one (1) Entry per person per e-mail address throughout the Entry Period. Entries by the same person in excess of the limits stated herein will be disqualified. BlueMountain.com "My Hero" Contest

June 17th, Blue Mountain launched a free contest entitled “My Hero” on our Facebook fan page encouraging friends on Facebook to submit stories about a special hero in their lives.  Submitting a hero to the free contest nominated each proclaimed hero for a chance at winning a week long, family vacation to the Caribbean.

We received over 160 hero stories from cancer survivors and military veteran heroes, to moms that do it all and dads who keep the faith through hard times.  Every hero story touched us on a personal level.  Thank you to everyone who participated in the “My Hero” contest and for sharing your wonderful stories of the remarkable heroes in your life.  What a great way to let someone know their honorable actions never go unnoticed.

As for the winning entry… Mom, Doris, nominated her son Tom as a hero for his continued strength, positive attitude and humble demeanor.  Here is the story of our brave hero and winner of the grand prize family vacation to paradise.

“Few people know what they want for their future at age 13. Thomas did. From junior high he has been working to be a pilot. He went to a magnet high school so he could take aerospace classes and JROTC. He earned an ROTC scholarship and took electrical engineering in college because that is what the Air Force wanted him to take. He went through two years of tough pilot training, POW train, and water survival training. Tom never complained through any of it. He finally was stationed at his first base. Before he could fly his first mission he was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer last week. He still hasn’t complained. He cares more for the feelings of those around him than himself. His wife Alicia has to ask him if he has a headache; he doesn’t whine about it. Tom asks his friends to please support his family because they are going through a lot. He always puts others first. Tom waited basically all his life to fly, then just as he was about to see his dream of becoming an Air Force pilot come true he got a diagnosis of 14 months to live, and he was removed from being a pilot. But he took it with grace and courage like the fine man he is. For that Thomas Plasterer, my son, is my hero. Never have I seen such courage, nor a man put the needs and concerns of his family first like Tom has. I really hope he wins this contest.”
